'Quantico' season 2 spoilers: Alex finds a new love interest?

Although the FBI Academy graduate is quite serious with her relationship with fellow recruit Ryan Booth (Jake McLaughlin), there is no reason why she cannot appreciate other male beauties in front on her. According to TV Line, newcomer and "thrill-seeking photojournalist" León Velez (Aaron Diaz) may be a potential love interest for Alex. In several stills released for the new installment, León is shown joining other tough-looking men in a yoga class. While bending in one of the required yoga positions, he is shown gazing intently at someone. The website posits that it could be Alex, who has come to realign her chakra.
Season 2 will see Alex joining the CIA. She was offered the job during last season's finale, but she has yet to give her answer. Speculations claim she will accept the job and start working with the best intel officers in the United States. How she will come in contact with the sexy photojournalist remains a mystery though. Perhaps, he is one of those types who goes around hounding agents in search for juicy news. If León will indeed become enamored with Alex, he will have to face Ryan.
Series creator Joshua Safran previously told Complex that the couple would continue their romance outside the FBI.

"The goal of season two is that we really have loved the chemistry between Priyanka and Jake [McLaughlin's Ryan Booth]. I think we will be keying even more into their chemistry and sort of taking on a little bit more of a Mr. and Mrs. Smith vibe for season two. Season two is not grad school. You are in the real world," he said.
"Quantico" season 2 is returning on Sunday, Sept. 25 at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
