WWE Rumors: Kurt Angle To Return To The WWE?
The latest WWE rumors are suggesting that a legend is about to make his return to the fold — could it be true, then, that Kurt Angle is making a triumphant return to the WWE?
That’s the truth if you believe FanSided, who all but confirmed the latest WWE rumors about the modern-day wrestling legend. According to them, Angle recently went on The Ric Flair Podcast — hosted, of course, by legendary wrestler Ric Flair — and said that the conversations between himself and the company have been “very positive” and indicative of his potential return to the ring.
“It’s been a very loose conversation. They have interest, and I have interest. If I do go back to the WWE, it will most likely be next year, or the year after.”
Though it’s an unfortunate reality that there are many wrestlers that have died, either in the prime of their life or long before their time (wrestling does take a heavy toll on the body, after all), Angle is one of the few who have reached middle age in fighting-quality health. And while popular opinion may say that he’s too old to get in the ring, there are plenty of wrestlers his age, and older — such as Jerry Lawler, Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, The Undertaker, and of course, Flair himself — who have fought in the ring, and successfully so.
